New year, new benefits
By Norman Chambers, managing director
It’s been another busy month here at the NACFB since our December newsletter. As we settle into 2018, you should now be aware that all NACFB Members now have free access to NACFB Compliance support and MyNACFB, our bespoke online training portal.
Get the most from your membership
You can register for NACFB Compliance support today here, and for MyNACFB here. I encourage all NACFB Members to make full use of these membership offerings. If you haven’t already, please do read Graham Toy’s feature in this month’s NACFB Magazine, providing more information on the positive changes here at your trade association.
Since launching NACFB Compliance in 2017, many Members have already benefited from access to over 50 template documents from our online model office, training and education from our compliance team as well bespoke support for more specific regulatory matters.
Events in 2018
Our events calendar for 2018 is filling up, and this year we are staging more events and workshops than ever before. We are pleased to announce the first of a series of bespoke sector events catering to individual aspects of commercial finance lending – kicking off with our bridging finance day in London on Thursday 25th January. The event is free and open to all NACFB Members – you can register your attendance here.
Our aim is to develop an environment that establishes a centre of excellence across all commercial finance divisions. These bespoke sector days will be taking place over the coming months with a dedicated working capital solutions day in Reading and an asset finance day in Nottingham.
Each event will feature roundtable sessions with up to six lenders, a complimentary compliance workshop, as well as news and updates from the sector. They offer a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest services and products on offer.
Further, the NACFB will be hosting its first Patrons’ day of 2018 in London on 6th February – and we would like for as many Patrons to join us as possible.
Following on from the success of Patrons’ days in 2017, this event will enable us to update lenders on the changes taking place behind the scenes at the NACFB while looking ahead to 2018. This day will also provide an opportunity to assess our collective readiness for GDPR, business quality and discuss broker agreements. Patrons in London can register to attend here.
Additional Member benefits – free online magazines
Moneyfacts Group is the UK’s leading provider of financial product data. Their publication, Business Moneyfacts, is a complete guide to business finance products for the commercial finance professional, and is now available for free to all NACFB Members.
To access your free online magazines, NACFB Members can sign-up here.
Once again, I encourage all NACFB Members to get the most from their membership. If you would like more information on how you can access all the benefits that come with NACFB Membership, please don’t hesitate to call our office on 020 7101 0359.
I look forward to seeing you at some point in 2018.
